Short text comes out right

The beach menu has five dishes with Dutch prices like 6,75. The Texel poster has one word in big letters. Both were spelled right the first time. We did not test long paragraphs, so zoom in before you print anything with small type.

New mug, same morning light

We gave Klein its own mug photo and asked for glazed terracotta and a croissant. The table, the window light and the camera angle stayed. The shape of the mug changed too, and we did not ask for that. If the shape matters, say so in your prompt.

Change the mug to glazed terracotta with a speckled finish and put a small butter croissant on a white plate next to it. Keep the table, light and camera angle the same.

Two photos in, one scene out

Edit mode takes up to 10 reference images and they don't cost extra. We sent the fisherman and the living room and asked for him on the sofa with a newspaper. His face, the raincoat and the room came along. That's one 2K image, so 3 credits. Use this prompt →

Four drafts before you pay for one good render

Set the batch size to 4 and you get four takes of one prompt. On UlazAI a batch of four at 1K costs 5 credits. Our sticker run gave four versions in 29 seconds. And the honest part: we asked for an otter and got something closer to a bear cub. A cheap batch shows you that before you spend 20 credits on Nano Banana Pro.

You pay per image. Extra images in a batch cost about half, and reference images in edit mode are free. Below is Klein next to the two other low-cost models in the Studio. At 1K it costs half of what they cost. At 4K the gap is small: 8 against 9 for Nano Banana 2.1.

When Nano Banana 2.1 is the better pick

Klein is a small model. A face that has to stay the same through ten edits, or a hero image that goes through round after round of feedback, deserves a test with Nano Banana 2.1 first. Use Klein for drafts, series, posters, menus and quick product shots.

Open, prompt, pick a size

  1. Open the Image Studio and choose FLUX 3 Klein.
  2. Type a prompt, or add up to 10 photos and describe what has to change.
  3. Pick an aspect ratio, 1K, 2K or 4K and a batch of 1 to 4, then generate. The same credits also run AI videos, so a still can become the first frame of a clip.
